VITICULTURE/VINIFICATION
Barbadillo is a blend of Verdejo from Rueda
and Palomino from Sanlucar (Jerez Superior). The Palomino was 100%
hand harvested during the first week of September in Jerez. The
Verdejo was hand and machine picked during the final
week of September in Rueda. The harvest conditions were excellent
and 2007 was a fantastic year for aromatic whites in Andalucia and
Rueda. The fruit was fermented in stainless steel and saw some lees
contact and light filtration.
